05/19/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Owner Profile: Grey was bought to the care center because her previous owner was over whelmed by the number of pets she ownered. Grey lived with adults so her behavior is unknown. The previous owner stated she hide when company comes over. Grey has been around other cats that are related to her. Grey has also been around large dogs and birds that had free range of the home. The previous owner stated Grey did not have any problems with the animals. Grey is litter Box trained. Notes: Grey at the time of the assessment was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer but after a steady low approach using soft voices she relaxed a little and I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. Although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless (2) Reaction to touch: Tries to avoid being touched , allows it (4) Try picking cat up: not tolerant of this type of handling, very afraid, tries to flee. Placement Determination: Experience no child
