GRANOLA – A1059851
Gone 12-12-2015 Brooklyn
***GONE 12/12/15*** GRANOLA is a scared, little 2 year old who is not happy about his stay at the ACC! He did allow all handling but not much more than that, hence the EXPNOCHILD rating. Give him time to decompress and he will be fine. Assessment at this kill-center, is hardly one to take to heart. GRANOLA just needs that special someone to FOSTER or ADOPT him!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Granola behavior was monitored by the enichment faciliator prior to his evaluation. They noticed Granola in very tense in the care center. He hisses when touched but allows brief contact. Reaction to assessor: Granola does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Granola does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Granola remains motionless and hisses at the assessor Reaction to touch: Granola allows petting with a very slow approach Try picking cat up: Granola is tolerant of this type of handling but tense. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child At the time of the assessment Granola was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices he relaxed a little. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. I was also able to pick him up. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children.
