I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 10/16/2015 from NY 11234, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Grand was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. He was easy to handle upon intake and during his initial medical exam. Reaction to assessor: Grand was resting in his cage upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Grand looks at the assessor with relaxed eyes. Reaction to cage door opening: Grand remains soft and relaxed and seems curious. Reaction to touch: Grand sniffs the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting. Reaction when picked up: Grand becomes tense, but allows handling. Placement Determination: Average Grand interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
