Grace was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. She had a soft body and allows handling throughout the intake process. Reaction to assessor: Grace was resting in her cage upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Grace wakes up, sleepily comes to the front, and plops on her side to rub her cheeks on the cage door. Reaction to cage door opening: Grace remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Grace head-butts, begins to purr, and leans on the assessor’s hand. Reaction to pick up: Grace remains calm and allows handling.
