11/13/15 19:24 Basic Information: Gizmo is a 5 year old neutered male who was given to his previous owner as a gift. She had him since he was 3 weeks old but had to surrender because she can no longer afford to care for him. Gizmo has no known injuries or health issues. The last time he went to the vet was when he was 3 weeks old. The two things his previous owner liked most about him were; he loves to cuddle and he is attentive. Social Life and Personality: Around children 10 months old Gizmo is relaxed and affectionate but doesn’t play. He is also relaxed and affectionate around cats and when he plays he is exuberant. He has not been around dogs. He is litter box trained and was kept indoors only. His activity level is high and he can be described as playful, confident, friendly, assertive, talkative, affectionate and independent. Behavior: Gizmo has never bitten a person or animal. When given baths he struggles and tries to run away. He tolerates having his nails trimmed. He enjoys his coat being brushed and being picked up or held. If he is disturbed while sleeping he isn’t bothered. For a New Family to Know: Gizmo used clumping cat litter in a hooded litter box. He liked to play with balls an string and he had a scratching post made of sandpaper and grass. When his previous owner was home Gizmo would tend to follow her around and when he played he was exuberant and somewhat rough. In car rides he meows/cries. He ate both wet 9 lives and dry Meow Mix. Behavior during intake: Gizmo allowed me to collar him, pet him, and take pictures without shoing any signs of aggression.
