***GONE 07/21/15*** AMI AND GIULIA WERE TRAPPED IN A YARD ALONG WITH AMI’S MOMMA CAT AND ANOTHER KITTEN BECAUSE THE PERSON DIDN’T WANT CATS AROUND. NOW THE ACC HAS LISTED 5 WEEK OLD AMI WITHOUT MOMMA AND 8 MONTH OLD PAL GIULIA TO DIE AT NOON!! Four cats were trapped in a yard by someone who didn’t want them there. AMI has a momma cat named Aegina A1044266 who is NOT LISTED tonight. Another kitten Albie A1044268 was also trapped and brought in and is NOT LISTED. GIULIA is an 8 month old girl who has a bad eye and may need it removed. GIULIA is not happy being trapped and got a NEW HOPE rating for her fear. She needs someone to give her a chance to have her eye taken care of and let her decompress and warm up in a home. The ACC didn’t even bother to give poor AMI a behavior rating. But AMI needs some medical to get her back to health from the kitty cold. THESE TWO CATS NEED A SPECIAL RESCUE ANGEL TO PULL THEM TO SAFETY TONIGHT. CAN THAT PERSON BE YOU??? PLEASE CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO PULL THEM BOTH TO SAFETY!!

07/19/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Giulia was in her box, alert upon approach. When softly spoken to, she focuses on the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Giulia remains immobile. Reaction to touch: Giulia does not allow touch; she hisses and swats from the opening of the box. Behavior Determination: New Hope Only Giulia is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and/or may require further investigation before placement in a home. She has tried to swat, is extremely fearful in the shelter environment, and does not currently tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
