GINGER – A1041848
7-2-2015 Brooklyn
***GONE 07/02/2015*** ‘GINGER is described by ACC as: ‘displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, and tolerates petting.’. Yet this little wide eyed wonder was found as a ‘stray’…hmmm. GINGER sure doesn’t look like a stray, and she is sensitive about having her back area touched-she will hiss and go to swat if touched there. Some cats are just sensitive, but it makes one wonder if someone hurt GINGER, who is estimated to be about four years of age, and came in with other ‘strays’ at the same time, from the same place….does make you wonder, doesn’t it? Is someone abusing these cats? But….GINGER will not get any compassion-she’ll be put to sleep before you can blink an eye-and this nice girl who’s lovely and sweet won’t get her forever after-but you can see she does-won’t you? Please save GINGER tonight!!!!!!

07/01/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Ginger was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, and tolerates petting. Ginger seems to not liked being touched near her lower rear area. She will hiss and lift up her a paw to strike as a warning. Ginger is displaying behavior appropriate for a experienced cat owner with no children. Reaction to assessor: comes to the front of the cage, soliciting, rubbing against the cage front When spoken quietly: stays at front, continues soliciting attention Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft & relaxed Reaction to touch: solicits petting and attention , does not like rear area touched, will hiss and strike as warning Placement Determination: Experience no child
