A volunteer writes: Everything about Ginger reminds me of a supermodel, from her wide-set green eyes to her perfectly symmetrical face to her lusciously silky coat. Even though beauty is only skin deep, this cat has it all. Though she needs a slow approach, once she warms up she is quite adventurous, peeking her head out of her cage and giving kisses to the object of her attention. She appreciates head and chin tickles, and if you’re lucky, you’ll even be on the receiving end of some hedonistic purrs. This cat alone is worth a visit to our Brooklyn Shelter, I can promise you that!
A staff member writes: Adopting Ginger would be like bringing a piece of fine art into your home. She has striking features, white tufts in her ears and bright green eyes that pop out from her soft gray stripes. Ginger is a cat that will have to come to you, when she is ready to grace you with her presence, and spends most of her time watching the world from her perch. She will need to be cared for and respected like delicate art, but she will reward you by showing you that she is beautiful from the inside out.
