*SAFE* 12/29/15 – 3-Legged, Dehydrated Norwegian Forest Cat Mix at BACC — GILLARD!

*TRIPOD*

Gillard A1061608 – 10 yr. neutered Norwegian Forest cat mix, OS

Cat runs away when approached. Cat lived only with one elderly person. Cat eats wet and dry food.

Scanned negative

QAR – moderately dehydrated. Painful in hind quarters, paws; hissed, allowed minimal handling. 0.15mL Telazol needed for exam

N~ 10 years

Auscultated clear.

Ears, nose, mouth clear

Eyes cloudy, sclerosis indicated

Missing most teeth, heavy tarter and gingivitis, halitosis.

Left hind leg previously removed.

Right hind leg atrophied muscles, limited ability to walk

Right front leg has embedded nails in digits 3, 4. Removed, cleaned and soaked in Nolvosan, Bup SR 0.14mL given for pain, Convenia 0.32mL given as preventative.

Coat – dandruff, no flea dirt or parasites noted.
