11/10/15 13:13 BASIC INFORMATION George (A1057439) & Peppa (A1057440) are brother and sister that was found by their prior owner when they were just a month old. Their owner had no choice but to surrender them because she is moving to a new place that does not accept any pets. Client hopes that ACC may be able to find their new forever for home/homes. SOCILIZATION George has been arould a child that is 5 years old. He is always calm and plays gentle with the child. He is also is relaxed and affectionate towards cats, he lived in the home with his sister Peppa. George is litter box trained and was kept indoors only. His activity level is about a medium. George can be described as playful, confident, friendly, assertive, affectionate and quiet. BEHAVIOR George has never been given a bath nor had his nails trimmed. He enjoys having his coat brushed and being picked up. Owner stated he struggled when being placed in a suit case. He isn’t bothered if he is disturbed while sleeping. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW George used clumping cat litter in a hooded litter box. He did not play with toys he would rather play with his sister Peppa. George had a scratching post that he used; it was made of rough rope. When his previous owners were home George would tend to follow them around and liked to be in the same room. George never really played with his previous owners besides the son. He is used to eating Blue Wilderness wet and dry cat food. BEHAVIOR UPON INTAKE Geroge was very calm and affectionate. He allowed to be rubbed, picked up, and collared by an admissions counselor. George scanned negative for a microchip.

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
George has been around a young child. He is always calm and plays gentle with the child. He is also is relaxed and affectionate towards other cats. He lived in the home with his sister Peppa(1057440). George is litter box trained and was kept indoors only. His activity level is about a medium. George can be described as playful, confident, friendly, assertive, affectionate and quiet. Reaction to assessor: George does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: George does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: George retreats slightly Reaction to touch: George responds well to slow petting and leans into head rubs Try picking cat up: George is tolerant of this type of handling but tense. Behavior Determination: Experience At the time of the assessment George was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats slightly as I started to get closer. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. I was also able to pick him up and although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
