Reaction to assessor: Gatsby was calm, relaxed, and friendly upon approach. When softly spoken to, he closes his eyes and rubs his cheeks against the cage front. Reaction to cage door opening: Gatsby remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Gatsby head-butts and rubs his cheeks on the assessor’s hand and begins to purr. Reaction to being picked up: Gatsby remains calm and allows handling. Behavior Determination: Average Gatsby interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting.
