GALAXY – A1057756
Gone 11-18-2015 Brooklyn
**GONE 11/18/15** 1 year old GALAXY was another victim of being TRAPPED. Another CAT to await for a new home that may never come, and quite possibly lose her life! She was scared and tried to flee from her assessor and did not allow handling,no doubt she has trust issues with humans due to being TRAPPED! She’s RESCUE ONLY and needs someone to offer to FOSTER or ADOPT her in order to save her life! All the stars in the sky can’t compare to sweet GALAXY!

11/16/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Galaxy was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. She attempted to flee multiple times upon intake. She did allow handling during her initial medical exam, however. Reaction to Assessor: Galaxy was calm and relaxed upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Galaxy looks at the assessor and blinks slowly. Reaction to cage door opening: Galaxy becomes stiff and alert. Reaction to touch: Galaxy lowers her head and sniffs the assessor’s hand briefly, but swats it gently and retreats to the back. She does not allow petting afterwards, swatting and then trying to avoid contact. Placement Determination: New Hope Only Galaxy is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and/or may require further investigation before placement in a home. She has tried to swat, is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
