***GONE * 11/12/15 – Meet Galaxy: Galaxy may have been hit by a car and cannot use either of his hind limbs. He will require vet care and must find local placement by 6pm tonight, 11/12. Please help this handsome boy get back on his paws!

INTIAL EXAM (11/11/2015)
Scan negative for microchip
Intact male
Possibly hit by car
Can’t move both hind legs–Right hind may be fractured
Eyes are clear
Nose = Potentially where the blood is coming from
Ears–Unable to look at
Teeth were intact and white
Coat is clean
Dewormed in food with Pyrantel
Flea Treatment= Activyl
As of now no signs of URI
As of now no V/S/C/D
Is stable and will be kept in medical for observation.
Is on a vet check
Will hiss and flee. Potentially feral
RE-EXAM (11/12/2015)
S/O: in medical for observation due to possible hit by car trauma. at rest in cage, slightly increased RR but normal RE. noted to be feral and will flee. also noted to be unable to move hind limbs last night. hiding in back of cage, could not assess ability to walk. sedated with 0.07 ml telazol IM for exam.
A: suspect hit by car or other trauma
P:
gave buprenorphine SR 0.12 ml SQ
gave 0.3 ml convenia SQ
