FUSSY – A1049007
8-28-2015 Brooklyn
*** GONE 08/28/15 *** PERFECTLY HEALTHY 2 YEAR OLD FUSSY WILL NOT BE FUSSY IF YOU RESCUE HER TONIGHT – SHE NEEDS IMMEDIATE HELP TO AVOID DEATH AT NOON! FUSSY and her pal SMOKEY( A1049007) were strays who were dumped in the kill happy shelter. FUSSY is already SPAYED, which gives us the inclination to believe she is really an abandoned pet. FUSSY is afraid and not allowing handling at the moment and needs a place where she can regroup and decompress. FUSSY is a young cat and deserves a chance to live. If you have some cat whispering abilities, please consider giving this girl a chance. Many cats once out of this scary environment prove to be totally different. New hope ratings only measure a cat’s fear IN THE SHELTER and not how they would act in a loving home. GIVE FUSSY A DEATH ROW PARDON TONIGHT – CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO SAVE HER LIFE!

08/27/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Fussy was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. Fussy seems to not be thriving in this environment. At the time of the assessment she was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. She extremely fearful and currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time. Reaction to assessor: hisses, growls at me When spoken quietly: hisses, growls at me Reaction to door cage opening: ears flat, tail flicking, lip licking Reaction to touch: attempts to bite, avoids touching Try picking cat up: Did not attempt Placement Determination: NewHope
