FUJI & KITTENS GROUP #K15 – 024939
8-5-2015 Brooklyn
***FUJI GONE 08/05/15*** KITTENS ARE SAFE **** POOR SCARED STRAY MOM CAT FUJI WILL BE KILLED BECAUSE SHE IS AFRAID – HER KITTENS HAVE BEEN SEPARATED FROM HER SINCE THEY ARE EATING ON THEIR OWN AND ARE NOT LISTED TONIGHT! No wonder FUJI is upset. She came in as a TRAPPED stray with her kittens. Since they were able to eat on their own the ACC quickly took them away even thought momma was still lactating. Now poor FUJI is all alone on tonight’s euth list and because she is not a friendly cat, they will kill her. FUJI is only about a year old and a kitten herself. The ACC has the nerve to say they think she is not thriving in the shelter. REALLY? No cat thrives in that place, no matter how friendly. FUJI does not have the shelter cold but since she is not happy they will end her life at NOON. If you are a patient person and can help this poor girl live, please CONTACT A NEW HOPE RESCUE NOW TO PULL HER TO SAFETY. NO ANIMAL WANTS TO DIE AND THIS IS SO UNFAIR BECAUSE THIS CAT WAS INTENTIONALLY BROUGHT HERE AGAINST HER WILL AND NOW WILL DIE FOR IT.

08/04/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Fuji was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. She seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment Fuji was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. She is extremely fearful and currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front, seems fearful When spoken quietly: does not come to front , seems fearful Reaction to door cage opening: becomes stiff, alert Reaction to touch: hisses, strikes, does not allows petting at all Try picking cat up: did not attempt to pick up Fuji due to fractious behavior Placement Determnation: NewHope
