FREDDY – A1058886
Gone 11-29-2015 Manhattan
***GONE 11/29/15*** FREDDY is a sick guy that’s been DUMPED due to “personal problems”. FREDDY is a 10 year old, NEUTERED fella that has possible pneumonia or a severe URI and lingual ulcers but that needs re- checking when he is relaxed enough to let them look in his mouth. A personal problem is an owner that dumps a sick, senior cat! Some people aren’t fit to share the same planet with such gentle cats! Offer to FOSTER, possibly. OR BETTER YET, ADOPT FREDDY! He needs a home to recuperate in and live out his golden years with someone of experience who won’t just dump him like yesterday’s trash!

11/25/15 14:09 Basic Information: Freddy is a 9yr old neutered male domestic short haired cat that has no past or current medical issues that the owner is aware of. Social Life and Personality Freddy has been around cats, children and dogs, and is described to play with them in a gentle respecftul manner. Around dogs however, he does take a while to warm up to them and will hide for a bit. Freddy is litter box trained but has recently been having some accidents. He was not taken to the vet for this issue. He was kept indoors only and is described as having a low activity level. He is described as being shy, affectionate, friendly, and mellow. Behavior Issues Freddy has never bitten another animal or person. The previous owner has never had his nails trimmed or given him a bath so it is unknown how he would react to these grooming agents. He does however enjoy having his coat brushed. He does not enjoy being picked up, but is not bothered when he is put in his carrier or if he is disturbed while he is sleeping. For a New Family to Know Freddy used clay litter in an uncovered litter box. He enjoyed ball and wand toys and used a vertical scratching post made out of rough rope. When in the home, Freddy is the type of follow you around seeking attention. He plays gently with you. He was fed Friskies wet food and enjoyed sleeping under his owners bed. Behavior Upon intake: Upon intake, Freddy allowed all handling and was friendly. No signs of aggression were noticed.
