FRED – A1043622
7-25-2015 Manhattan
***GONE 07/25/15***YABBA DABBA DO-FAB FRIEND NEEDS YOU! Fred is a super sweet and calm six year old gentleman who came into the shelter back on 7/11 with his Bedrock gang (of six feline friends) after they were found together on the property of a school. All of the kitties were tolerant of being picked up and petted. It was noted that while together, they cuddled close together and all easy to handle. A couple of fab Fred’s friends (Dino and Barney) are safe while sadly two others didn’t make it out. Let’s do everything we can to move this sad sweetheart to safe haven. This is definitely the kind of kitty who would be most appreciative of a loving home and surely reward his new purrson with lots of love and affection. Please reserve Fred online or contact a NH rescue for assistance with transportation (available if you live within a few hours of NYC). If you really want to go the extra mile, also reserve his pal Bam Bam who is still available! Let’s help write a happy ending to this sweetheart’s sad tale. Make the call for fab Fred and be the change that you want to see in the world!!!

07/11/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
07/11/15 13:15 6 cats were found on the property of a school together. All are thin and appear to be older. Betty and Barney have crusty ocular discharge. Barney’s ears are so short they’re barely there. Bam Bam’s ears are a little curled at the end. He’s the least thin and may be younger than the others. All of the cats were a little tense but tolerant of being pet, scanned (Betty is the only cat who scanned positive), picked up, positioned for pictures, sexed, and put in kennels. They were easy to handle and didn’t resist or vocalize. They mostly retreated to the back of their kennels. While together, they cuddled close together. They all ate wet food quickly. When we returned to their kennels, they approached us, sniffed us, and rubbed against us a little. They allowed us to pick them up and put them in carriers.
