FLUFFY – A1046906
8-24-2015 Brooklyn
***SAFE 08/24/15***FLUFFY is a sleek gray 1 year old male cat, who was brought to the shelter in a cardboard box. He was brought in as a stray and though he doesn’t know where he is or why he’s there, he is open to attention, accepting petting and giving head-butts and kisses. This sweetheart of a cat, faces death if he’s not fostered or adopted today! He is a little slow to warm up so he can go to an experienced cat home. This loveable guy needs you today to rescue him from a death sentence. Please do what you can to help Fluffy have a wonderful pampered cat life and not a cold lonely death.

08/11/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Fluffy becomes alert, but remains neutral upon approach. He focuses on the assessor when softly spoken to. Reaction to cage door opening: Fluffy remains calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Fluffy sniffs the assessor’s hand and head-butts when touched. He comes to the front, accepts petting on his head and back, and gives kisses on the assessor’s hand. He seems wary of the environment and became hesitant at times. He may nip gently while giving kisses. Reaction to being picked up: Fluffy allows handling, but seems nervous from the noise and activity in the room and calmly jumps backs into the cage. Behavior Determination: Experience Fluffy tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
