***SAFE 06/23/15*** FRIENDLY FLUFFY WAS DUMPED FOR TOO MANY PETS AND NOW WILL DIE BECAUSE SHE CAUGHT THE SHELTER COLD!!! FLUFFY is a spayed 2 year old girl whose owner decided he has too many pets and dumped her in the shelter. Sadly this very pretty gray and white kitty was perfectly heatlhy on intake and has since caught the germs that are festering in the ACC. Now they will cure that cold with a lethal injection at noon. FLUFFY caught the eye of the staff there and a staff member writes: Fluffy the displaced house cat needs someone to love her! Curious and cautious, this kitty watches the world from every corner of her cat condo. We do a little dance as I approach her cage – forward, side, back, until I am up close to her and she peeks out at me from her cubby. As nervous as she is, Fluffy never really turns her back on you, even if you’re a stranger, so I believe that she will make an amazing companion once you are friends. A volunteer writes: Fluffy is an alert and pretty, but very shy girl who needs a bit of coaxing to get her to the front of her kitty condo. However, once she’s up, she will look very lovingly at you. Her previous owner stated that she is very friendly and mellow. Experienced cat parents would be suitable cat parents to Fluffy since she would need to be slowly and gently introduced into her new forever home. Fluffy hopes that you’re the one to be so kind and understanding towards her. DON’T LET THE ACC SNUFF OUT THE LIFE OF THIS PERFECTLY WONDERFUL CAT!! SAVE FLUFFY NOW BY CONTACTING A RESCUE TO PULL HER TO SAFETY!!

Social Life & Personality: Fluffy has never been around children and isn’t sure how she will respond in the presence of of a child. Fluffy was kept away from the other cats in the home and the owner didn’t attempt to interact her with the other cats. So the owner isn’t sure how she will act in the presence of another cat and this information applies to dogs as well. Fluffy is litter box trained and is an indoor only cat. Fluffy is described to be friendly, quiet, and mellow with a high activity level. Behavior Issues: The owner isn’t sure how Fluffy will respond to recieving a bath or having her nails trimmed due to never attempting to do either to her. However she does like having her coat brushed and this can be done without issue. She likes to be held and takes well to being put into a cat carrier for transport. For a New Family to Know: Fluffy was brought up using a mix of walnut litter and regular clay litter with a hooded litter box. She enjoys all sorts of cat toys and will play with just about anything according to the owner. Fluffy did have a scratching post that the owner constructed for her and she used it pretty often. When in the home Fluffy is the type to follow you around seeking attention. When interacting with humans she plays in a gentle manner. She seems to ejoy car rides and doesn’t display any change in behavior when in the car. Fluffy was brought up eating both wet and dry food. The brands the owner gave was Fancy Fiest.
