10/04/15 13:54 Florida is an all- black female cat that appears to be 2 years old. The cat was fearful when finder attempted to capture. During intake Florida did not allow much handling. Florida attempted to flee and attempted to run. She did not allowed to be collard and photographed.

Reaction to assessor: Florida was hiding when I approach cage When spoken quietly: Florida continues to hide Reaction to door cage opening: Florida tries to flee Reaction to touch: Florida tries to avoid touch and attempts to flee Try picking cat up: Florida is not tolerant of this type of handling, very afraid and tries to flee. Behavior Determination: Experience no child At the time of the assessment Florida was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Florida attempts to flee as I started to get closer. I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. We recommend that this cat goes to a home with experienced cat parents with no children.
