FLASH – A1054535
Gone 10-17-2015 Manhattan
***GONE 10/17/15***FLASH is a handsome 2 year old tabby cat who was brought into the shelter as a stray. He’s a little afraid to be in the shelter, but despite that, he’s open to some petting and TLC. Despite being afraid, he has no aggression. This guy’s a lover, not a fighter! FLASH is hoping for a home where he can relax and stretch out, maybe sit in the sunshine, instead of being on today’s euthanasia list! He has a long life in front of him if someone rescues this gorgeous guy. He would do best in an experienced cat home with no children, so he could relax and take a breather, finally being able to feel safe in his environment. FLASH is hoping someone will open his or her heart and foster or adopt him. If you do, tons of cuddles and purrs are in your future with FANTASTIC FLASH!!!

10/15/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Flash looks worried in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Flash remains crouched position hiding in his cat den, pupils fully dilated, body tense. Reaction to touch: Flash accepts the stroke, but stiffens up in place with a vacant stare. Placement determination: Experience / no child Flash tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
