07/13/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Firefly was low against the ground and focuses on the assessor. When softly spoken to, he continues to stare. Reaction to cage door opening: Firefly remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Firefly hisses, but allows touch on his head and back. His ears bend sideways, but did not display any further reaction. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Firefly tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
