*** SAFE 06/25/15 *** TIPPY, UNIQUE & FIRE FLY CAME IN WITH TEN OF THEIR HOUSEMATES……Their former owner decided they had “PERSONAL PROBLEMS” so the cure was to ship all the cats out to the ACC and leave them to their unknown fate….BUT WE KNOW WHAT THAT FATE CAN BE…..All three of these lovely cats are fearful but will warm up given time and patience. THE ACC HAS ALREADY STARTED CHIPPING AWAY AT THIS CAT FAMILY…..PLEASE HELP THEM BE SAFE TONIGHT BY OFFERING TO FOSTER OR ADOPT!!

06/22/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Fire Fly was bought into the care center by his previous owner due to having too many pets. Fire Fly at the time of the assessment was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer. I was able to pet him in a limited way. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless Reaction to touch: tries to avoid being touch Try picking cat up: not tolerant of this type of handling.
