FIONA – A1046256
8-6-2015 Staten Island Rescue: Feline Rescue of SI Please honor your pledges: http://felinerescueofstatenisland.org/donation/
***SAFE 08/06/15***PRECIOUS GREY TABBY KITTEN NEEDS YOU—BE FIONA’S HERO! Fiona is a 14 week angel who desperately needs us to advocate for her tonight. She was dumped at the shelter by someone who didn’t want her in their yard. Upon intake, she appeared friendly (or did she not allow handling?) ugh—we are not sure since the ACC stated both in her notes. We will give this great little girl the benefit of the doubt and say she is naturally scared at the shelter and may need a little time to be socialized. She still received a respectable experienced no kids rating. She deserves a loving home where her new owner will be patient with her but she will surely come around with some TLC. Fiona is still a baby and deserves a chance to grow up. Won’t you please open up your heart and home to this little girl? You can reserve her online or contact a NH rescue for help with transportation (if you live within a few hours of NYC). Don’t forget that fostering saves lives so let a rescue know if you can offer temporary safe haven (and live within an hour of NYC). Make the call for fab little Fiona. Save a life. Make a difference.

(3) Reaction to touch: Cries, then hisses with further petting. (3) Notes: Fiona came to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. At the time of the assessment, Fiona is displaying fearful behavior. She avoids interaction with the assessor and becomes nervous when handled.
