08/07/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Fingerprint was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Attempts to flee as I started to get closer. I was able to pet him and interact with him. I was also able to pick him up and although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: at back of cage ,appears fearful When spoken quietly: at back of cage ,appears fearful Reaction to door cage opening: attempts to flee Reaction to touch: tries to avoid being touched but allows petting Try picking cat up: Fingerpaint allows petting and handling but will try to flee if he gets a chance Placement Determination: Experience
