FIDDLER – A1041133
6-27-2015 Manhattan Rescue: Staten Island Hope Please honor your pledges: http://www.statenislandhoperescue.org/
***SAFE 06/2715*** AIDA AND FIDDLER WERE BROUGHT IN TOGETHER AS STRAYS AND NOW WILL DIE DUE TO THEIR FEAR!! AIDA is a 10 year old tortie girl who the finder was feeding in her yard behind her home. Sadly she decided that rather than continuing to feed her, she trapped her and took her to the ACC where she is scared and received an EXPNOCHILD rating. FIDDLER is another stray boy but he is only 4 months old and only a KITTEN and sadly he is just terrified at being in the ACC and was rewarded with a NEW HOPE rating for his fear. Both these cats don’t deserve to die. They are both deserving of time and patience and a loving home. FIDDLER IS PERFECTLY HEALTHY. AIDA caught the dreaded cold and needs a good round of antibiotics to cure that. BUT THE ACC WON’T GIVE THEM A CHANCE – YOU ARE THEIR ONLY HOPE TONIGHT TO LIVE PAST NOON SATURDAY. IS THERE ANYONE WITH A HEART TO FOSTER OR ADOPT ONE OR BOTH OF THESE KITTIES. ACT NOW OR THEY WILL BOTH BE STATISTICS TOMORROW. CONTACT A RESCUE TO PULL THEM NOW.

06/25/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Fiddler looks tense in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Fiddler remains crouched down at the back of her cage, alert with pupils fully dilated. Reaction to touch: Fiddler avoids contact, hisses, and swats at the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: NH ONLY Fiddler is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. She is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
