08/11/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Ferry does not come to the front, but remains neutral in her cage. Her eyes wander around and her ears tilt sideways when softly spoken to. Reaction to cage door opening: Ferry remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Ferry focuses on the assessor’s hand and does not allow touch; she hisses and swats near the hand to warn the assessor. She remains in the back and looks away after. Behavior Determination: New Hope Only Ferry is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and/or may require further investigation before placement in a home. She has tried to swat and does not currently tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
