FERRY – A1046861
8-14-2015 Brooklyn
***SAFE 08/14/15*** POOR FERRY WAS BROUGHT INTO THE ACC AS A STRAY IN ROUGH SHAPE BUT THIS ONE YEAR OLD KITTEN CERTAINLY WOULD LOVE TO LIVE AND HAVE A HAPPILY EVER AFTER!!! FERRY has an injured left paw and may be blind in one eye. She needs immediate vet attention and with some TLC and meds, she can be just fine. FERRY is only a one year old kitten and sadly the streets weren’t too kind to her. She got an EXPERIENCE rating since she did allow petting and handling. FERRY needs a kind person to rescue her tonight so she can get the vetting she needs and have a safe place to decompress and learn to trust her rescue angel. FOSTERING WILL SAVE HER LIFE AND GET HER THE HELP SHE NEEDS. IF YOU CAN HELP FERRY PLEASE DON’T WAIT – CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO PULL HER TO SAFETY!!!

08/10/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Ferry was calm and relaxed upon approach. She looks at the assessor and tries to sniff when softly spoken to. Reaction to cage door opening: Ferry becomes alert, but remains calm. Reaction to touch: Ferry was hesitant and shifts away from the assessor’s hand. She allows touch, but twitches when pet on her body. She lowers her head, blinks, and starts to lip lick during the interaction. Behavior Determination: Experience Ferry tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. She may be more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
