***GONE 07/15/15*** PERFECTLY HEALTHY SWEET, SHY YOUNG TORTIE “STRAY” HAS A GREAT BEHAVIOR RATING, BUT THE ACC WILL KILL HER ANYWAY – PLEASE GRANT FAUX A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Gorgeous three-year-old tortie girl FAUX came into the kill-happy ACC as a STRAY, but she entered the shelter FREE of fleas and ear mites, at a healthy 8.3 pounds, so it’s obvious that she’s a lost or abandoned pet kitty. During her behavior test, Faux ALLOWED PETTING and earned a very good EXPNOCHILD behavior rating . But the heartless, overcrowded ACC will MURDER this poor tortie at noon tomorrow, despite the fact that Faux is PERFECTLY HEALTHY! Torties have marvelously EXUBERANT personalities, known as TORTITUDE. Please don’t let them kill this dear girl. Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt betrayed tortie girl FAUX! When softly spoken to, she remains motionless and focuses on the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Faux becomes stiff and alert. Reaction to touch: Faux remains immobile, twitches when pet on her body, and her ears tilt sideways. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Faux tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
