SWEET AND PETITE CALICO NEEDS YOU! Farrow is a beautiful and affectionate 13 month old angel who desperately needs us to advocate for her precious life tonight. She came in on 3/25 as a “stray” but with her friendly disposition and the fact that she tolerates all handling, she could once have been a pampered house pet. Whether she lost her way or was deliberately dumped is uncertain but what is for sure if we don’t do everything to advocate for her tonight, she will become another sad ACC stat when tomorrow afternoon rolls around. Farrow came in healthy but has caught the dreaded but curable kitty cold. We can’t let this great girl who rocked her behavior eval with an awesome pawesome average rating die due to a couple of curable kitty sniffles. Please reserve Farrow online or contact a NH rescue for assistance in delivering this little darling directly to your doorstep. Won’t you please be this sweet and petite calico’s rescue angel???

03/29/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Farrow was calm, relaxed, and friendly upon approach. When softly spoken to, she looks at the assessor with relaxed eyes. Reaction to cage door opening: Farrow remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Farrow leans into the assessor’s hand with her entire body and begins to purr and knead on her bedding. Reaction to toy or novel object: Farrow sniffs the object. Reaction to being picked up: Farrow remains calm and allows handling. Farrow was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. The finder says that she allowed her to carry her and bring her into the care center. During her initial medical exam, she was nervous and tried to flee. This may be due to being exposed to a new and foreign environment, but she did not display any aggressive behaviors throughout her stay in the care center. Behavior Determination: Average Farrow interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
