10/25/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Farfle was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Farfle is sitting on top his feral den. Reaction when softly spoken to: Farfle makes eye contact and moves away slowly. Reaction to cage door opening: Farfle runs away into the feral den. Reaction to touch: Farfle tolerates petting and is tense with wide eyes. He slowly shifts away from the assessor. Reaction to being picked up: Did not attempt due to his behavior. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Farfle tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his or her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
