11/16/15 15:49 Basic Information Eve was brought in as a stray, after living in a client’s yard. Client says Eve always finds ways to sneak inside of his home, and plays with his Labrador Retriever. Client says Eve has always been social, and allowed him and his family to interact with her. Behavior during Intake Eve was afraid during intake. She had a flattened body and ears with dilated pupils. When taken out of carrier Eve attempted to leap off of counter, but allowed counselor to grab and redirect her. Despite being afraid, Eve allowed all handling and showed no signs of aggression during intake.

11/19/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Evie’s finder stated she always finds ways to sneak inside of his home, and plays with his Labrador Retriever. Also, she has always been social, and allowed him and his family to interact with her. Reaction to assessor: Evie looks tense in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Evie remains crouched position at the back of the cage, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Evie accepts the stroke, but slowly began to retreat away from the assessor’s hand. Once touched she shows some interest by raising up her hind legs, but remains cautious with her surroundings. Placement determination: Experience Evie tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
