I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 11/03/2015 from NY 10453, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

11/3/15 14:38 Basic information: Eson was brought in as a stray. The finder found her in the street, the finder placed Eson in a cat carrier and brought him to the shelter. No other information could be provided during intake. Intake Behavior: During intake Eson had tense, stiff body. Eson allowed to be scanned (negative), collared, pictured, picked up and placed in a cat kennel. After intake Eson was Purring, puts front paws on your chest and head-butts your face, tolerates handling.

Reaction to touch: Eson head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: Allows the pickup and remains calm. Placement determination: Beginner Eson interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.

No discharge OU, nose. Clean teeth. PLNs: Not enlarged. H/L: NSR, NMA. Purring, quiet lung sounds. Abd: Soft, no pain on palpation, no masses palpated M/S/I: Amb x4. Significant amount of flea dirt all over body. UG: Male intact, testicles soft and symmetrical. A: 1. Fleas 2. Ear mites Short-term prognosis: Excellent P: 1. Gave 0.26 ml ivermectin SQ during exam for ear mites 2. Cleaned ears during exam; clean ears again in 3 days and recheck in 1 week 3. Gave 0.9 ml pyrantel during exam 1088
