08/05/15 19:06 Litter Mates : Lita : A1046805 Eddie : A1046806 Erma : A1046807 Erma is a white and orange cat who was brought into ACC today as a stray. Erma appears to be healthy but is not spayed at this time. Erma was nervous meowing often and did not allow herself to be easily transferred into her new carrier and she did not allow herself to be collared. She did however allow herself to be photographed inside of her new carrier when she was eventually transferred into a new carrier. Erma was nervous and aloof and will need time to adjust to her new circumstances.

08/10/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Erma was calm, relaxed, and friendly upon approach and reaches out with her paws when softly spoken to. Reaction to cage door opening: Erma remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Erma head-butts and leans on the assessor’s hand when pet. She begins to purr and continues to solicit attention, but she whines and nips randomly and when her tail is touched. Reaction to being picked up: Erma remains soft and allows handling. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Erma is social and affectionate but appears to be easily overstimulated and/or plays roughly. As a result of this observed behavior we recommend adopters who are familiar with signs of behavioral arousal and agitation in cats, so that interactions can be ended before Erma becomes overstimulated. Due to the randomness of her nipping during an interaction, we feel that this cat will do best in a home without children.
