10/05/15 15:38 Behavior during intake: This cat was hard body during the intake process. She did not want to come out of the owner’s carrier. After a few minutes the cat did go into the MACC carier on her own. When I opened the MACC carrier, the cat hissed and gave a low growl. I did not collar the cat.

10/15/15 Reaction to assessor: Enzo does not come to the front but looks at the assessor – is calm, relaxed and friendly. Reaction when softly spoken to: Enzo comes to the front of the cage – soliciting attention, rubbing against the cage bars and chirping. Reaction to cage door opening: Enzo remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Enzo solicits petting and attention – head-butting and rubbing against the assessor’s hand. Reaction to being picked up: Enzo sits calmly in the assessor’s arms for a few moments, then jumps back into the cage. Behavior Determination: Average Enzo interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is suitable for new or experienced cat parents. Date: 10/8/15 Reaction to assessor: Enzo looks neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Enzo remains crouched down by the front of the cage, alert with relaxed face. Reaction to touch: Enzo slowly sniffs the assessor’s hand then flinches during the touch but began to head-butt and appreciate the petting. Placement determination: Experience Enzo tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
