I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 12/06/2015 from NY 10458, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

A: left hind limb lameness – suspect old injury vs. possible tarsal injury vs. other P: no need for pain medication at this time rec new hope placement – best to have x-rays +/- surgical consult ——————————

No other information could be provided during intake. Intake Behavior: During intake Endive was relaxed with soft body. Endive allowed to be scanned (negative), collared, pictured and laced in a cat kennel.

Reaction to door opening: Endive remains standing at the front of the cage, relaxed body posture, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Endive head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: Allows the pickup and remains calm. Placement determination: Beginner Endive interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
