***SAFE 07/11/15*** Still a baby at just 6 months old, little EMERALD and siblings, were all surrendered due to her owner having “too many pets”. EMERALD is such a sweet girl and was described as friendly. One of her siblings is already safe, one is unknown status and the other is still available in the shelter. If you can adopt or foster this sweet cat tonight – please email the HELP DESK NOW at [email protected] and they will guide you through the foster/adoption process. Emerald needs a reason to shine..let that reason be YOU!

06/27/15 13:08 Garnet A1041718, Emerald A1041726, Jasper A1041725, Sapphire A1041720, and Peridot A1041727 are being surrendered because the owner of the cats is of old age and can no longer care for them. The daughter brought them in for her. She states that her mothers home is in very bad shape. She says that she will be bringing in 2 other cats later in the day. A staff memebr spoke to her parents and got consent from them to allow the daughter to bring in the cats Due to the nature of intake, no information is available homelife/behavior. Behavior during intake According to the owners daughter, all of the cats are very friendly and when you come in through the door, they all run up to greet you. They are very independent in the home. During intake, they allowed all handling-scanning(negative), collaring, and photographs. They took food and water and allowed petting. They are all friendly and easy to handle.
