***SAFE 09/30/15***ELVIS HAS LEFT THE BUILDING…THROUGH THE FRONT DOOR…MAKE IT HAPPEN! A volunteer writes, “This gentleman is absolutely stunning. Elvis is gorgeous with his long, silky white hair and slightly flame point ears and blue eyes. Not only is he a looker, he is a talker. Loving attention and affection, he doesn’t want you to stop. He will make a mellow squeak when you stop and walk away. “Come back,” he meows, “don’t go”. So friendly and gentle you can’t help but want to caress his fur and spend time with him. If you desire a strong beautiful work of art in your home, one you can talk to, then come and invite Elvis into your living room today.” Elvis, a gorgeous flame point oriental shorthair mix, is the purrfect beginner rated sweetheart who had been living in the hallway of an apartment building for a week and being tended to by his finder. He is obviously somebody’s lost or abandoned pet. The super made the finder get rid of Elvis and that’s how this fab fella ended up at the ACC. He needs follow up vet care for some diarrhea and a few other issues but is so worth saving. He will make the purrfect companion to just about anyone. Please reserve Elvis online or let a rescue know if you can help by fostering or adopting. If you foster, the rescue should cover reasonable medical costs. So please make the call for beginner, Elvis and be the change that you want to see in the world.

09/23/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
09/23/15 08:53 Elvis has been living in the hallway of an apt building for 1 week. His finder has been feeding him. The super of the building told him he had to be removed, so he brought him here. Elvis’s finder reports that he’s friendly, outgoing, and social with all people including strangers. He solicits attention from him when he’s in the hallway and allowed him to pick him up and put him into a carrier. Elvis has a couple of patches of hairless, dry, thick, pink skin on his sides and legs. Elvis had a soft, relaxed body and relaxed, almond-shaped eyes during his intake and handling-being picked up, held, pet, scanned (-), collared, positioned for pictures, and put into a kennel. He approached us, solicited attention, and head butted us often. He was very easy to handle and didn’t resist/retreat/vocalize. In his kennel, he lied a bit on his side, resting his head on his paws. When we were nearby, he sometimes stood up and watched us with almond-shaped eyes.
