A shelter staff member writes:
This big creamsicle -colored cat is as cool and sweet as an ice cream treat; he will purr gently while you rub his head or brush him. His previous owner stated that Eli loves to be close to people and will follow you around, likes to play with toys, plays respectfully with children and other cats; at bedtime he can be found sleeping in the bathtub. Elie would be a great cat for anyone looking for constant companionship.
A vounteer writes: Sitting quietly in his kennel, just observing the goings on, this handsome gentleman caught my attention. I saw that he has lived with children and other cats according to his previous owner, and really loves to be around people. I groomed him which he seemed to enjoy, and pet him which he also seemed to enjoy very much. He is very easygoing and independent, I would have to describe him as a good catch for many households, and would love to be your newest best friend.
