Reaction to cage door opening: Eden remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Eden head-butts, twirls around in a circle, starts to purr, and is very affectionate throughout the interaction. Reaction to being picked up: Eden remains calm and allows handling. Behavior Determination: Beginner Eden interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. VC – RECHECK TAIL S/O: Cat is BAR, eating, caudal most aspect of tail missing and proximal to that is scabbed portion, which is painful to touch (cat became very upset and started hypersalivating) A: Amputating wound to caudal tail P: Tail wounds can be difficult to heal, due to this and amount of pain to cat, recommend caudectomy at time of OVH PROGNOSIS: Good
