Notes: Eastern was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer. I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children. Reaction to assessor: body low and tense When spoken quietly: bosy low and tense Reaction to door cage opening: retreats, stress meows Reaction to touch: tries to avoid touch, stress meows Try picking cat up: Did not attempt Eastern was already stressed Placement Determination: Experience no child

Scan : negative Sex: female Approx 6 mos Hx: Driver said rear leg was injured S/O: BARH, clean EENT, Ab SNP, orthopedic exam was WNL, full range of motion, did not react painful to palpation and attempted to get away. No external wounds noted A: APH P: Gave 0.1ml meloxicam SQ in case painful and not showing during exam. Will keep in medical overnight, recheck tomorrow, if OK, then move to holding PROGNOSIS: EXCELLENT
