EAGLE – A1037110

***GONE 05/23/15***SAD AND ABANDONED SENIOR NEEDS NEW LEASH ON LIFE! Malnourished and abused senior cats don’t just drop out of the sky, spontaneously generated by the right combination of wind and sun. Cats like Eagle are created by the people and circumstances who have shaped their lives for all the days leading up to the ACC intake, the sad intake photograph, the initial medical exam. Eagle was found to be sorely lacking in signs of love and affection. That’s pretty poor, and at 12 years old? Someone has been ignoring this cat for a very, very long time. He’s got a few health issues that need to be addressed by a competent vet but it’s time to turn things around for Eagle right now, today, this very instant. Without our finest efforts, he dies tomorrow at noon. Please advocate widely for Eagle. Contact a NH rescue if you can offer this sad senior safe haven. Let’s give this Eagle a reason to be purr again.

05/21/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
05/21/15 19:57 Eagle has been living in the hallways of a building for about a month. Neighbors think his owner was evicted and left him behind. They’ve been feeding him and report that he’s friendly, going up to them to solicit attention and allowing them to pick up and handle him. Eagle has swelling in his left ear. His finder reports that pus was coming from it. His paw pads are puffy and swollen as well. His coat appears as if he hasn’t been grooming himself. He was brought in a box that he bled in but we can’t tell where the blood was coming from. When he walks, he appears a little shaky. Eagle had a soft body and allowed us to pet, pick up, scan (negative), and put him in a carrier without resisting, retreating, or vocalizing. He growled quietly while we collared him.
