DUECE – A1031071

3-31-2015

Previous | Next

DUECE is a charming two-tone companion who was brought to the shelter when his former owner became hospitalized. Duece doesn’t think much of the ACC and is just a little bit stressed out by where he is now, and how he came to be there. He earned an EXPNOCHILD rating from the shelter, so he will appreciate some time to decompress when he gets into his new home. Please make sure DUECE has a new home to go to, tomorrow, by sharing him everywhere you can think of, tonight!

03/28/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Duece looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Duece remains crouched down at the back of his cage, alert with pupils fully dilated. Reaction to touch: Duece hisses at first then accepts the stroke, but eyes wonder and body stiffens in place, during the touch. Placement determination: Experience / no child Duece tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
