***GONE 09/28/15***ADORABLE & POSSIBLE FATHER-DAUGHTER DELIGHTFUL DUO NEED YOU-BE DROGO AND CERSEI’S HERO! One year old terrific tabby Drogo and ten week old torbie kitten, Cersei came into the shelter together a few short days ago after being trapped in their finder’s yard and dumped at the kill happy shelter. Drogo is a shy but calm fella, tolerant of petting and handling while little Cersei is an extremely loving and affectionate little girl. They can both be reserved online or you can contact a NH rescue for assistance if you can foster or adopt one or both of these fab felines. Drogo is still basically a kitten himself and deserves a chance to live and Cersei is a healthy and wonderful little girl ready to be a lucky new purrson’s new furever friend. 09/26/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Drogo was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices he relaxed a little and I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. I was also able to pick him up and although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but appears calm and relaxed When spoken quietly: does not come to front but appears calm and relaxed Reaction to door cage opening: retreats, eyes become wide Reaction to touch: tries to avoid being touched Try picking cat up: Drogo allows limited handling for a brief time Placement Determination: Experience
