DR SEUSS – A1041614
7-3-2015 Manhattan
*** GONE 07/03/15 *** TWO CHOCOLATE CUTIES…..DR. SEUSS & SONNET….CAME IN TOGETHER. DR.SEUSS is actually a female and is still lactating from kittens that did not come in with her. SONNET may be an older sibling. These two velvety beauties are afraid and alone. Some TLC, TIME and PATIENCE would go a long way with them but the ACC doesn’t deal with any of those……IF YOU HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT FOSTERING, HERE’S A GOOD PLACE TO START….SONNET & DR. SEUSS need some help to blossom and rescues desperately need fosters….PLEASE SAVE THEIR LIVES TONITE!!

07/01/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Dr Seuss was calm and relaxed upon approach. When softly spoken to, she looks at the assessor and looks away again. Reaction to cage door opening: Dr Seuss remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Dr Seuss was hesitant of touch, but remains immobile with stroke. After a little while, she turns her head away from the assessor and squeezes her whole body against the corner of the cage. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Dr Seuss tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
