05/30/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Dove is very shy and fearful. She have not been socialized with the public only with the former owners family members. She also is playful and repectful with both adults and children. Reaction to assessor: Dove looks tense in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Dove remains crouched down on her cage bedding, alert with wide eyes. Reaction to touch: Dove accepts the stroke, but flinches on the touch and body stiffens in place. Placement determination: Experience / no child Dove tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
