DOT – A1037648
***GONE 06/01/15***DOT IS WONDERING WHY HE AND HIS FRIENDS ARE BEING TAKEN AWAY FROM THEIR HOME in BROWNSVILLE AND DUMPED AT ACC! DOT is a young cat, who the Assessor was able to pick up and pet. He’s shy and scared, but he was carted into ACC in a friggin trap! Along with several other cats-is there a cat round up going on in Brownsville? Did someone move and leave these gentle souls behind? Whatever the case DOT needs you very much to foster or adopt him and save his life because the ACC is otherwise going to end it tomorrow. That really isn’t fair-DOT has committed no crime save being homeless. Don’t let DOT’s life end-black and white cats and black cats stand the least chance of being pulled-and this is so wrong for this sweet boy. Want to save a life? SAVE DOT TONIGHT!!! A sweet and shy gentle boy needs you so-won’t you give him a chance?

05/28/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Dot was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices he me to interact with him. I was also able to pick him up and although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) Reaction to door cage opening: retreats Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch (2) Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling but tense.
