This creamsicle kitty is about 5 years old and came in as a stray. However, this boy was definitely someone’s pet as he rocked a BEGINNER rating as he solicits attention and petting and was very friendly. At the time of the assessment he was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting.Don is displaying behavior appropriate for a beginner cat owner. Reaction to assessor: comes to the front of the cage, soliciting, rubbing against the cage front (1) When spoken quietly: stays at front, continues soliciting attention (1) Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft & relaxed (1) Reaction to touch: solicits petting and attention (1) Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling Placement Determination: Beginner
