DOMINIQUE – A1046104
8-5-2015 Manhattan
***GONE 08/05/15*** PERFECTLY HEALTHY GRAY AND WHITE BEAUTY, DUMPED AS A STRAY, WILL NOW DIE DUE TO HER FEAR – PLEASE GRANT DOMINIQUE A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Gorgeous gray and white girl DOMINIQUE, just 2 years old, entered the kill-happy ACC as a SUPPOSED “STRAY”, but she entered the shelter FREE of ear mites and fleas, at a healthy weight, with perfectly clean fur! Dominique is surely a lost or abandoned pet kitty. Poor Dominique is simply TERRIFIED in the scary shelter, so she acted DEFENSIVELY when she was poked and prodded with the scary fake hand used by the ACC for cat behavior tests. The heartless ACC WROTE HER OFF as a New Hope Only behavior problem NOT WORTH SAVING, and now will MURDER her at noon tomorrow, despite the fact that Dominique is PERFECTLY HEALTHY! The ACC claims that they NEVER kill healthy cats, but poor Dominique is PROOF that they DO INDEED kill them on a DAILY BASIS. Please save this pretty gray and white princess! Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt scared, betrayed young gray girl DOMINIQUE! If you can’t save DOMINIQUE yourself, please SHARE her sad story and PLEDGE for her rescue!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Dominique looks neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Dominique remains crouched down on cage bedding, alert with soft eyes. Reaction to touch: Dominique avoids contact, flinches on the touch, and attempts to bite and hiss at the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: NH ONLY Dominique is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. She is stressed extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
