***SAFE 07/19/15***SECOND CHANCE FOR SENIOR SWEETHEART–MAKE IT COUNT! PURRING SENIOR CHARMER, FOUND WITH 5 OTHER CATS AT A SCHOOL, HAS A LOVING VOLUNTEER PLEA AND A NEAR-PERFECT BEHAVIOR RATING, BUT THE ACC WILL KILL HIM ANYWAY – PLEASE GRANT DINO A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Darling DINO, a 9-year-old white and gray tabby gentleman, entered the kill-happy ACC through unusual circumstances: “6 cats were found on the property of a school together. All are thin and appear to be older.” Dino quickly caught the attention of an ACC volunteer, who lovingly writes: “You can’t get more gentle and sweeter the Dino. This guy is super nice and oh so handsome to look at. He loves conversation and gazes into your eyes while you talk to him. Such a great lap companion he would make. Spend lazy sunny afternoons looking out the window with him by your side. Soon to be a senior, he still has so much more to offer in terms of friendship and companionship.” This older lovebug PURRED his way to a near-perfect AVERAGE behavior rating, but he has severe dental disease, so the heartless ACC will MURDER this sweetheart at noon tomorrow. Please don’t let them silence his purrs forever! Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt senior lovebug DINO! If you can’t save DINO yourself, please SHARE his sad story and PLEDGE for his rescue!

07/11/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
07/11/15 13:15 6 cats were found on the property of a school together. All are thin and appear to be older. Betty and Barney have crusty ocular discharge. Barney’s ears are so short they’re barely there. Bam Bam’s ears are a little curled at the end. He’s the least thin and may be younger than the others. All of the cats were a little tense but tolerant of being pet, scanned (Betty is the only cat who scanned positive), picked up, positioned for pictures, sexed, and put in kennels. They were easy to handle and didn’t resist or vocalize. They mostly retreated to the back of their kennels. While together, they cuddled close together. They all ate wet food quickly. When we returned to their kennels, they approached us, sniffed us, and rubbed against us a little. They allowed us to pick them up and put them in carriers.
